Senior AI Full Stack Software Engineer

What you'll do

• Design and deploy end-to-end AI applications to improve healthcare decision-making and operational efficiency.
• Integrate LLMs, voice/image recognition, and document parsing into existing EHR and clinical systems.
• Build secure, HIPAA-compliant data pipelines for training and deploying models using structured and unstructured healthcare data.
• Evaluate AI models using rigorous metrics like sensitivity and specificity while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Develop retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems using tools like LangChain, LlamaIndex, and vector databases.
• Perform rapid prototyping and iteration of AI concepts in collaboration with product representatives.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide strategic direction for the organization's AI initiatives.

What we're looking for

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• B.S. degree in Computer Science or related engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience building AI solutions in healthcare or life sciences.
• Deep understanding of healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR) and compliance frameworks (HIPAA, GDPR).
• Proven ability to build AI models for clinical NLP, medical imaging, patient risk stratification, and care personalization.
• Skilled in building RAG systems using tools like Pydantic, Semantic Kernel, LangChain, LlamaIndex, and vector databases.
• Proficiency in Python, Node.js, and modern web frameworks.
• 4+ years in AI/ML development (preferred); experience with cloud environments, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines (preferred).
