What you'll do

Define and drive the AI-first engineering vision and strategy across development teams.
Establish governance models and best practices for AI-assisted development to ensure security and compliance.

Lead engineering teams in using AI tools like GitHub Copilot and Claude for coding, testing, and debugging.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
Typically 8+ years of software engineering experience.
Proven experience driving AI-assisted development practices and developer productivity transformation at scale.
Hands-on experience with tools such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar.
Strong expertise in cloud-native architecture, microservices, distributed systems, and API-first/event-driven architectures.
Full-stack development expertise in Java/J2EE or similar stack, including UI frameworks and web services.
Experience with Guidewire InsuranceSuite, Digital Solutions, or the Guidewire Cloud Platform (preferred).
Experience in the P&C insurance domain (preferred).
