As a Senior Aerodynamics Engineer, Omen, you will join the Maneuver Dominance Team to develop unmanned vehicles that revolutionize the aerospace field. You will be engaged in the full development lifecycle of the Omen hover-to-cruise autonomous air vehicle, which provides runway-independent capabilities for defense and civilian domains. Your daily responsibilities include aerodynamic design at various maturity levels, stability and control analysis, performance modeling, and generating aerodynamic loads. You will also plan and execute wind tunnel tests and flight tests while developing internal tools in a version-controlled environment. The role requires proficiency in MATLAB, Python, StarCCM+, and Flow360 to perform calculations using vortex, lattice, panel methods, and computational fluid dynamics. You will solve complex problems regarding subsonic, transonic, and supersonic flow regimes for this unique tail-sitter aircraft platform.
