As a Security Operations Vice President – Blockchain & Digital Assets within the Cybersecurity and Technology Controls team, you will proactively detect, assess, and respond to threats impacting blockchain infrastructure and enterprise environments. You will design security strategies for smart contracts and digital assets while monitoring on-chain and off-chain signals to identify indicators of compromise. Your daily work involves leading investigations, developing alerting logic, and creating operational playbooks to improve detection capabilities. You will utilize enterprise-authorized AI tools to accelerate threat intelligence synthesis and detection engineering. Required expertise includes SIEM platforms, log analytics, network security, malware analysis, and infrastructure configuration across cloud and hybrid environments. The role focuses on protecting the integrity of blockchain systems by addressing emerging attack patterns and ensuring robust security posture through continuous process improvement and cross-functional collaboration.
Design security strategies, policies, and procedures for digital assets, smart contracts, and blockchain infrastructure.
Monitor and analyze on-chain and off-chain signals to identify indicators of compromise and emerging attack patterns.
Lead security investigations by gathering evidence, analyzing root causes, and driving remediation to closure.
Develop and improve alerting logic, detection rules, and operational playbooks for blockchain-related threats.
Integrate enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to accelerate threat intelligence synthesis and detection engineering productivity.
Evaluate and enhance security posture by tracking industry trends and regulatory expectations.
Drive process improvements to increase operational efficiency and reduce mean time to detect and respond.
Produce clear, actionable control and reporting updates for stakeholders and leadership.
What we're looking for
Formal training or certification in security and cloud concepts.
5+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations, including threat detection, incident response, and infrastructure management.
Experience using SIEM platforms and log analytics to support detection and investigation workflows.
Demonstrated expertise across multiple security domains such as network security, malware analysis, threat hunting, and security architecture.
Advanced knowledge of network and infrastructure configuration and security controls.
Experience designing and implementing security solutions for on-premises, cloud, or hybrid environments.
Experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to support threat intelligence, detection engineering, and research with strong validation habits.
Familiarity with blockchain security concepts, on-chain data analysis, and developing automation (preferred); relevant security certifications (preferred).
