Security Operations Vice President, Blockchain & Digital Assets

What you'll do

• Design security strategies and policies to improve detection and response for smart contracts and blockchain infrastructure.
• Monitor and analyze on-chain and off-chain signals to identify indicators of compromise and emerging attack patterns.
• Lead security investigations by gathering evidence, analyzing root causes, and driving remediation to closure.
• Develop and improve alerting logic, detection rules, and operational playbooks for blockchain-related threats.
• Use enterprise-authorized AI to accelerate threat intelligence synthesis and improve threat hunting productivity.
• Evaluate security posture by tracking industry trends, new threat techniques, and regulatory expectations.
• Drive process improvements to increase operational efficiency and reduce mean time to detect and respond.
• Produce clear, actionable updates on control and reporting routines for stakeholders and leadership.

What we're looking for

• Formal training or certification on security and cloud concepts and 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations.
• Experience using security information and event management (SIEM) platforms and log analytics for detection and investigation.
• Demonstrated expertise across multiple security domains including network security, malware analysis, threat hunting, and security architecture.
• Advanced knowledge of network and infrastructure configuration and security controls.
• Experience designing and implementing security solutions for on-premises, cloud, or hybrid environments.
• Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities for threat intelligence and detection engineering with strong validation habits.
• Familiarity with blockchain security concepts such as consensus mechanisms, smart contract vulnerabilities, and multi-chain monitoring (preferred).
• Experience with on-chain data analysis, developing detections, or relevant security certifications (preferred).
