Security Operations Program Manager

What you'll do

• Provide subject matter expertise on enterprise information security architecture and overall security strategy.
• Advise the program on risk levels, security posture, and compliance with industry best practices.
• Communicate daily challenges to the Portfolio Manager to support SOC development and growth.
• Interpret and advise on the application of laws, regulations, and policies to specific issues.
• Develop short-term and strategic training events for the assigned team.
• Manage contract operations including task planning, scheduling, and cost monitoring.
• Oversee subordinates and delegate responsibilities to ensure successful completion of all tasks.
• Create technical and financial reports to track project progress and performance.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree and 8-10 years of prior relevant experience.
• Must be able to obtain a customer-specific background investigation.
• At least 10 years of experience managing contract operation support functions for complex project tasks.
• Minimum 8 years of direct project and program management experience in delivering information systems or computer network support services.
• In-depth understanding of cyber security architectures, technical platforms, threat management standards, and industry best practices.
• Knowledge of laws, regulations, policies, and ethics as they relate to the cyber security area of expertise.
• Experience working in a heavily regulated and/or audited environment.
• Advanced certifications such as CISSP and/or PMP (preferred); technical experience with Splunk, Malware Analysis, or NIST/ISO standards (preferred).
