Security Guardian VP

What you'll do

• Conduct hands-on security assessments using threat modeling, architecture reviews, and vulnerability analysis to identify design flaws and misconfigurations.
• Design and recommend concrete security controls for identity, cryptography, network isolation, and runtime enforcement across cloud environments.
• Drive down technical risk by validating that security controls are effectively implemented in production based on real-world threats.
• Act as an embedded product security expert to influence engineering design decisions and review code paths early in the development cycle.
• Provide technically grounded security guidance to senior leadership by translating complex trade-offs into actionable mitigation strategies.
• Identify and remediate weaknesses using an attacker-mindset across domains like cloud, smart contracts, and software supply chains.
• Integrate security into agile workflows through DevSecOps, automated testing, and secure CI/CD pipelines.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• At least 7 years of progressive cybersecurity experience with a focus on product and cloud security.
• At least 3 years of experience within financial services.
• Experience in Agentic AI security and smart contract security (preferred).
• AWS or Azure Cloud Security certification (preferred).
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC (preferred).
• Proven experience collaborating with engineering teams in an embedded security engagement model.
• Demonstrated expertise in at least three advanced security domains including threat modeling, cryptography, and software supply-chain security.
