Security Engineer III

What you'll do

• Design, code, and test applications using Java, J2ee, Spring Boot, and AWS.
• Create secure, high-quality production code that meets specific security requirements.
• Design and develop scalable applications specifically for cloud environments.
• Perform software maintenance and improvements using knowledge of data and infrastructure architecture.
• Resolve high-impact production issues to ensure the smooth flow of business applications.
• Identify hidden patterns in data to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
• Select and implement cost-effective security solutions and best practices.
• Execute security solutions design and technical troubleshooting for internal clients.

What we're looking for

• Formal training or certification on security engineering concepts and 10+ years of applied experience.
• Experience developing security engineering solutions.
• Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery using Jenkins and Selenium Grid.
• Proficiency in coding in Java and experience developing and deploying applications in public cloud environments like AWS.
• Working experience with Spring Framework components (AOP, Integration, MVC, Spring Boot) and Spring JDBC, Hibernate ORM, or JPA.
• Database experience with RDBMS or NoSQL and knowledge of TDD, JUnit, Mockito, Maven, Git, and RESTful Web Services.
