Security Engineer III

What you'll do

• Manage phased Oracle HCM implementations and provide production support for live modules.
• Design and execute security solutions including role provisioning and access control.
• Develop high-quality production code while reviewing and debugging code from other engineers.
• Configure Oracle HCM security features, Segregation of Duties (SOD) analysis, and defect resolution.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify security needs and recommend business modifications.
• Minimize security vulnerabilities by following industry insights and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain security documentation and configuration workbooks for audit-defensible processes.

What we're looking for

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
• 3+ years of experience troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology services in a large-scale environment.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle HCM application security configuration, role building, and identity and access management (IAM).
• Experience managing HCM applications or infrastructure in both on-premises and public cloud environments.
• Proficiency in data analysis and engineering using SQL, PL/SQL, or Python.
• Working knowledge of REST APIs, Kafka, JavaScript, HTML, and XML.
• Experience with cloud services including Oracle HCM and Amazon Web Services (AWS) including SaaS security protocols.
• Proficiency in observability, monitoring tools, and agile project management tools like Jira or Microsoft Project.
• Experience crafting functional/technical designs for Oracle HCM data conversions and reporting (preferred).
• Familiarity with optimizing processes and assessing risks within the identity and access management space (preferred).
• Experience leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning to support business decisions (preferred).
• Knowledge of governmental regulations and industry frameworks related to information security (preferred).
