Security Engineer III

What you'll do

• Design, build, test, and maintain software applications across the full SDLC including CI/CD and deployment.
• Implement secure coding standards, dependency management, and vulnerability remediation throughout the development lifecycle.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK to provision secure environments.
• Build and deliver cloud-native solutions with a focus on AWS security, IAM, and networking.
• Apply DevOps practices to automate testing, release management, monitoring, and incident response.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to triage production incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
• Use enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to accelerate security analysis and vulnerability assessment documentation.
• Create high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with existing systems.

What we're looking for

• Formal training or certification on security engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
• Experience developing security engineering solutions.
• Documented experience building enterprise applications using Java.
• Documented experience using AWS or other public cloud technologies.
• Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to support security engineering workflows with strong validation habits.
• Ability to review and validate AI-assisted code and security recommendations before use.
• Proficiency in coding in one or more languages.
• Knowledge of SDLC execution, including agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
