Security Engineer IC3

What you'll do

• Build security-focused technical solutions that prioritize code quality, architecture, performance, and reliability.
• Drive technical solutions for detection engineering, threat hunting, incident response, and threat intelligence.
• Monitor, detect, respond to, and manage security incidents to ensure system integrity and confidentiality.
• Scale up and build a world-class Security Operations Center (SOC).
• Investigate problems to their root cause through data exploration and proactive threat hunting.
• Manage security across large-scale distributed systems involving Windows, MacOS, or Linux environments.
• Utilize Elastic, EDR, SIEM, WAF, and cloud infrastructure to address security challenges.
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure systems remain secure and resilient around the clock.

What we're looking for

• Experience in detection engineering, threat hunting, incident response, and threat intelligence to build a world-class SOC.
• Expertise in large-scale distributed systems across Windows, MacOS, or Linux platforms.
• Proficiency with Elastic, EDR, SIEM, WAF, and cloud infrastructure.
• Ability to investigate problems to their root cause and perform data exploration.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations to ensure system security and resilience.
• Experience with Python, Go, asynchronous message queues, and microservices architecture (preferred).
• Skills in designing, deploying, and maintaining clean RESTful APIs (preferred).
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards such as GDPR or PCI-DSS (preferred).
