Information Assurance Security Engineer

What you'll do

• Draft information security policies and manage all aspects of Certification and Accreditation (C&A).
• Advise on system design and architecture while defining and evaluating information security systems.
• Manage multi-agency information sharing, integration security, and high-level stakeholder relations.
• Respond to security incidents by investigating, documenting, and implementing corrective measures.
• Perform operations and maintenance for network infrastructure including firewalls, gateways, and IDS.
• Execute remediation processes for vulnerabilities identified through ACAS security scans.
• Conduct forensic traffic and log analysis to isolate issues or respond to analyst alerts.
• Maintain and harden network perimeter technologies using tools like HBSS, Carbon Black, and Tanium.

What we're looking for

• Must be a United States citizen.
• Must currently possess an active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• Must have at least 5 years of related experience in data security administration or information security.
• Must possess an IAM II certification to start in accordance with DOD 8570.1M.
• Must have knowledge and experience with ICD 503 and Cloud Infrastructure/AWS-based solutions.
• Must be proficient in network routing, vlan technology, and Unix or RHEL operating systems.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• US Citizenship.
