Essential skills include systems engineering, software integration, and navigating complex DoD security policies to ensure mission-ready prototype deployment across hardware, software, and networking components.

What you'll do

  • Serve as the primary cybersecurity technical authority for integrating and accrediting force protection sensing technologies.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy to integrate prototypes into DoD network environments.
  • Manage the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process to obtain IATT, IATO, and ATO authorizations.
  • Create and maintain critical accreditation artifacts including System Security Plans, Assessment Reports, and POA&Ms.
  • Implement Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and manage ACAS vulnerability remediation plans.
  • Identify and mitigate cybersecurity risks associated with integrating COTS, GOTS, and third-party vendor technologies.
  • Oversee the secure integration of multiple hardware, software, and networking components into existing DoD infrastructure.
  • Lead technical integration efforts across engineering disciplines to ensure compliance with Army security requirements.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree and 8–12 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience leading security architecture and engineering activities throughout the system development life cycle (SDLC) for complex DoD systems.
  • Experience developing and implementing cybersecurity architectures to integrate hardware, software, networking, and operational technology into DoD environments.
  • Experience planning and executing the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process to obtain IATT, IATO, and ATO authorizations.
  • Experience managing RMF documentation including SSPs, SAPs, SARs, POA&Ms, eMASS packages, and other accreditation artifacts.
  • Experience implementing Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), ACAS scanning, and vulnerability remediation plans for DoD systems.
  • Experience leading technical integration efforts involving multiple engineering disciplines, subcontractors, and government stakeholders.
  • Professional cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CASP+, Security+, or CCSP are preferred.
