What you'll do

  • Act as the primary on-site point of contact for both Siemens and academic customers.
  • Manage strategic partnerships by identifying mutual interests and developing collaboration projects with academic institutions.
  • Develop Academic Industry Partnership grants and manage the transition of partners to Siemens MRI platforms.
  • Drive the development of novel MR pulse sequences and image reconstruction techniques in collaboration with research partners.
  • Develop, test, and release high-quality source code for new prototypes and existing product features.
  • Conduct original research resulting in patent applications and publications in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Provide technical content for marketing materials, trade shows, and educational meetings to translate research into business value.

What we're looking for

  • Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Physics, Imaging Physics, or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of relevant clinical and research MRI experience on the Siemens MRI platform.
  • Strong background in MR physics, pulse sequence design, and expertise in MR imaging techniques and clinical applications.
  • Substantial experience in C++/C software design, implementation, and coding.
  • Experience using MATLAB for signal and image processing.
  • Exceptional communication skills across writing, presentation, and verbal formats.
  • Prior experience working on Siemens MR systems in pulse sequence design and image reconstruction is preferred.
