The Saviynt IGA Team Lead will lead the transition of the Department of Veterans Affairs' identity governance and administration capability from a legacy custom system to the Saviynt Identity Cloud SaaS platform. In this role, you will own the technical roadmap, lead a team of developers, and manage the migration sequencing, identity mapping, and attribute normalization. You will design provisioning workflows, access-certification policies, and role-based access policies while managing cross-platform integrations between Saviynt, CyberArk, Entra ID, and AWS IAM. Required technical skills include experience with Java, JavaScript, BeanShell, JSON, XML, REST, and SQL. You must possess expertise in identity lifecycle management and Saviynt certifications to solve complex identity governance problems and ensure secure access to critical government services.

What you'll do

  • Own the technical roadmap and connector or workflow architecture for the Saviynt Identity Cloud platform.
  • Lead the migration sequencing and coexistence strategy from the legacy APDS system to Saviynt.
  • Manage the Saviynt IGA development team to onboard VA applications to the new solution.
  • Design cross-platform integration architecture between Saviynt, CyberArk, Entra ID, and AWS IAM.
  • Serve as the escalation point for Tier 3 IGA incidents and perform Root Cause Analyses.
  • Mentor Saviynt IGA Developers and coordinate shared identity workflows with CyberArk and Okta/EntraID leads.
  • Automate tasks and develop ways of working that leverage AI and automated processes.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of experience with COTS IGA or IAM tools such as Saviynt or SaaS IGA platforms.
  • 2+ years of experience in a lead or architect role with COTS IGA or IAM tools.
  • Experience leading an IGA migration or modernization effort, including legacy-to-SaaS transition.
  • Experience with identity lifecycle management, access certification, and RBAC design at scale.
  • Experience with Java, JavaScript, BeanShell, JSON, XML, REST, or SQL for connector or workflow development.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Information Systems, or CS.
  • Saviynt Certification such as EIC Administrator or Developer Certification.
