The role requires expertise in high speed SERDES, mixed signal PCBA design, and components like ADCs, DACs, and FPGAs within the satcom domain.

What you'll do

Own the ground gateway gigabit data rate modem design from concept through production.
Design and optimize various electronics sub-system blocks.
Design digital circuitry to support multiple protocols in collaboration with internal teams.
Lead and review schematic capture and PCB layout processes.
Optimize PCB stack-up for improved performance and reduced manufacturing costs.
Perform board bring-up and execute test campaigns for modules and subsystems.
Manage the transition of hardware designs to production with contract manufacturers.

What we're looking for

Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or lawfully admitted as a refugee or granted asylum.
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
3+ years of hardware engineering experience.
3+ years of experience using schematic tools such as Mentor Graphics Xpedition, Cadence OrCad, or Altium Designer.
2+ years of experience using lab equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multi-meters.
Master's degree in electrical engineering with classes in digital communication systems (preferred).
Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production (preferred).
