Senior Satellite Hardware Development Engineer

What you'll do

• Own the ground gateway gigabit data rate modem design from concept through production.
• Design and optimize various blocks of electronics sub-systems.
• Design digital circuitry supporting various protocols in collaboration with internal teams.
• Lead and review schematic capture and PCB layout processes.
• Optimize PCB stack-up for specific performance and cost requirements.
• Complete board bring-up and perform test campaigns for different modules and subsystems.
• Support the transition of hardware designs to production with the contract manufacturer.

What we're looking for

• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or lawfully admitted refugee/asylee.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of hardware engineering experience.
• 5+ years of experience using schematic tools like Mentor Graphics Xpedition, Cadence OrCad, or Altium Designer.
• 4+ years of experience using lab equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multi-meters.
• 3+ years of industry experience in high speed (SERDES, etc.) and/or mixed signal PCBA design.
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or experience designing digital communication systems (preferred).
• Export control laws and regulations, candidates.
