Research & Technology Engineer II

What you'll do

• Design, prototype, evaluate, and refine medical device concepts, components, and systems.
• Execute development activities within established Product Development Process (PDP) and Design Controls frameworks.
• Generate and maintain engineering documentation including requirements, specifications, protocols, reports, and design history records.
• Plan and execute bench, simulation, and laboratory testing activities to evaluate product performance.
• Analyze experimental data and communicate technical findings to cross-functional stakeholders.
• Participate in risk management activities, design reviews, verification planning, and technical decision-making.
• Support the development of test methods, manufacturing procedures, and evidence required for clinical feasibility milestones.
• Contribute to design verification, reliability, usability, and system integration efforts.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, Electrical, Materials Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant engineering experience or an advanced degree with relevant experience.
• Experience developing products within a regulated industry.
• Strong analytical, experimental, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative, on-site team environment.
• Candidates must possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire.
