Research Scientist, R&D Internship

What you'll do

• Identify core research challenges and design novel prototype solutions for artificial intelligence.
• Validate research prototypes through rigorous experimentation and quantitative analysis.
• Advance research in foundation models, multimodal AI, and agentic systems.
• Develop responsible AI systems and enterprise-grade benchmarks for business processes.
• Implement large-scale machine learning systems using Python and PyTorch.
• Shepherd research projects from the initial ideation phase to full completion.
• Disseminate research results through academic publications and patent applications.

What we're looking for

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Doctorate Degree (preferred).
• Research experience in modern AI, including foundation models, agentic systems, knowledge graphs, or distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Python for rapid prototyping and implementing large-scale machine learning systems.
• Strong quantitative analysis skills and the ability to design and deconstruct complex research problems.
• Proven research track record evidenced by peer-reviewed publications or strong preprints.
• Advanced expertise in ML frameworks like PyTorch and full-cycle algorithm development (preferred).
• Hands-on experience with generative AI (LLMs) and multimodal models (preferred).
