Reliability Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop and lead reliability activities during product development and throughout the product life cycle.
• Perform stress-driven risk analysis including thermal, electrical, and mechanical stresses to identify product weaknesses.
• Develop HALT, HASS, and accelerated life test campaigns to validate hardware performance.
• Create subsystem reliability models and establish reliability allocations across components to meet targets.
• Review and guide subsystem team component selections, derating, and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
• Support component and manufacturing process qualification to ensure product quality.
• Drive root cause investigations and failure analysis for hardware failures.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical, Materials, Reliability, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Master's or Doctorate degree or above in Mechanical, Materials, Reliability, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in hardware reliability engineering (preferred: focus on satellite systems or space applications).
• Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans, and functional test procedures.
• Knowledge of reliability engineering principles, methods, and tools.
• Knowledge of environmental testing, including temperature cycling, vibration, HALT, and HASS (preferred).
• Proficiency in failure analysis techniques and materials characterization methods.
• Export control laws and regulations, candidates.
