Senior Reliability Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop and implement reliability test plans for satellite hardware components.
• Perform stress screening and environmental testing to ensure hardware meets performance targets.
• Analyze designs and test results to identify potential failure modes and mitigations.
• Conduct failure mode effects analysis (FMEA) and review designs for release.
• Investigate manufacturing non-conformances and field hardware failures to determine root causes.
• Utilize reliability modeling and simulation tools to predict hardware performance and lifespan.
• Develop and maintain reliability prediction models and databases.
• Prepare detailed reliability reports and present findings to engineering teams and management.

What we're looking for

• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or lawfully admitted as a refugee or granted asylum.
• Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical, Materials, Reliability, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in hardware reliability engineering, preferably with a focus on satellite systems or space applications (preferred).
• Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans, and functional test procedures.
• Significant knowledge of reliability engineering principles, methods, and tools.
• Proficiency in failure analysis techniques, materials characterization, and environmental testing.
• Master's or Doctorate degree or above in a relevant engineering field (preferred).
