The Regulatory Counsel joins the Privacy and Product Legal team to manage global platform laws, artificial intelligence, privacy, and product counseling. This individual will advise on regulations like the Digital Services Act and Online Safety Act while building relationships with regulatory stakeholders. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing Requests for Information, supporting regulatory investigations, and coordinating with internal teams and outside counsel. The role involves analyzing legal requirements for new products and technologies, developing go-to-market strategies, and partnering with Policy and Communications on legislative consultations. To succeed, the candidate must possess a UK or EU legal qualification and experience in European digital regulation, privacy law, and AI legislation. They will collaborate with engineers and product managers to develop technology-first processes and provide training across the company while navigating complex issues within a fast-evolving regulatory environment for digital platforms.
