What you'll do

  • Provide end-to-end legal support for Public Sector teams regarding regulated products and services.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on emerging cloud service policies and shifting regulations.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet U.S. and international regulatory standards.
  • Embed with Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Security teams to navigate compliance frameworks like FedRAMP.
  • Develop scalable legal solutions that balance aggressive business goals with necessary risk mitigation.
  • Advise on the legal strategy for introducing new products into regulated environments.
  • Use AI platforms and tools to optimize internal legal workflows.

What we're looking for

  • Must have a J.D. from a highly-regarded institution and an active Bar admission.
  • Must have 5–7+ years of legal practice experience.
  • Must have at least 2 years of experience focused on U.S. Public Sector and Regulated Products.
  • Must possess a deep understanding of FedRAMP, DoD CC SRG, FAR, and DFARS regulations.
  • Must have a proven track record supporting IT products and SaaS business models.
  • Must have working knowledge of U.S. federal, state, and local regulations impacting technology.
  • Experience as a Military Judge Advocate or U.S. Federal Civilian service attorney is preferred.
  • An undergraduate degree in a technical field is a significant plus.
