Real-Time Software Engineer

What you'll do

• Design, implement, and test real-time C/C++ software for multi-core systems running Linux or VxWorks.
• Translate signal processing algorithms from MATLAB into real-time software systems.
• Develop software to configure and control RF hardware devices.
• Integrate software into third-party frameworks and architectures such as Redhawk.
• Utilize third-party mathematics and communication libraries including TCP/IP, UDP, and DDS.
• Document all developed systems and technical specifications.
• Support system field testing and collection events in the field.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science and relevant experience.
• Experience in C/C++ real-time software development.
• Experience using version control (Subversion, GIT, etc.) and continuous integration software tools (Jenkins).
• Must have active Secret level security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI level clearance.
• Advanced knowledge of the Linux operating system and experience with real-time operating systems like VxWorks.
• Experience with interface communication standards and protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, and DDS.
• Ability to read and understand signal processing algorithms written in MATLAB.
• Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent (preferred).
