What you'll do

Design and architect high-quality software for the Mainframe Security & Compliance portfolio.
Produce, test, and debug software solutions using IBM Assembler and Metal C languages.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code while adhering to established coding standards.
Implement security features including encryption, key management, and cryptographic hardware integration.
Automate repetitive tasks through the use of appropriate tools and scripting.
Perform validation and verification testing to ensure software quality and coverage.
Interact with customers to gather requirements, provide technical support, and conduct demonstrations.
Participate in all Agile activities including sprint planning, refinement, and code reviews.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 12+ years of related experience, or a Master's with 10+ years, or a PhD with 7+ years.
Proven knowledge and skills in Mainframe systems and the z/OS operating system.
Proficiency in IBM Assembler and Metal C programming languages.
Strong understanding of security protocols and Mainframe Security Managers (ACF2, Top Secret, and RACF).
Proficiency in z/OS Security & Cryptography including ICSF, z/OS System SSL, and PKCS.
Deep understanding of encryption technologies like TLS/SSL, AES, RSA, ECC, hashing algorithms, and PKI for enterprise mainframes.
Experience with interactive debugging tools (XDC) and reading system dumps.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
