R&D Senior Engineer Software

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and deliver software and firmware for ultra-high-performance datacenter-scale solutions.
• Own all aspects of a design including ZephyrOS/OpenBMC firmware, microcode, and device drivers.
• Build and manage embedded Linux/Yocto builds and upper-level control software.
• Perform early-stage silicon, chip, board, and full-system bring-up and debugging.
• Write software for low-level interfaces including I2C, PMBus, PCIe, SPI, and USB.
• Implement Secure Boot, u-boot, and Secure Root of Trust architectures.
• Drive system-level validation, automation, and testing using various debugging tools.
• Support customer trials, address field issues, and ensure long-term product sustainability.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Experience developing software in C++/C for large-scale, complex multi-processor architectures (x86, ARM).
• Experience with Linux/Yocto, OpenBMC, and/or ZephyrOS.
• Deep expertise in early-stage development, including silicon, chip, board, and full-system bring-up.
• Hands-on experience writing software for low-level interfaces including I2C, PMBus, AVSbus, MDIO, PCIe, SPI, USB, and SERDES.
• Strong knowledge of Redfish and DMTF standards including MCTP, PLDM, and SPDM.
• Expertise with debugging tools, testing techniques, and driving system-level validation and automation.
