What you'll do

  • Analyze and resolve complex issues within Emulex Fibre Channel HBAs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide timely solutions for customer issues.
  • Review firmware, driver, and OS logs to identify root causes of failures.
  • Develop technical documentation such as white papers and application notes.
  • Coordinate software/firmware release timing and produce comprehensive Release Notes.
  • Capture and analyze Fibre Channel protocol bus traces for system-level issues.

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience with system-level, host software (drivers/BIOS), networking, and hardware debugging.
  • Technical expertise in embedded software, driver development, or debug of Fibre Channel and other storage networking technologies.
  • Ability to read and interpret board schematics for hardware analysis.
  • Strong protocol knowledge including Fibre Channel, NVMe over Fabrics, iSCSI, and RoCE.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex technical issues.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of experience.
