R & D Engineering Specialist

What you'll do

• Lead a multi-disciplinary team of test engineers in developing and validating medium tractor products.
• Provide technical direction and mentorship to the engineering team during New Product Introduction programs.
• Develop and maintain validation strategies and activity plans for machine, system, and component levels.
• Maintain and improve standard test procedures to ensure consistent product quality and safety.
• Track and communicate program health, risks, and progress to relevant stakeholders.
• Perform hands-on machine testing from a customer perspective in various outdoor environments.
• Lead process improvements and facility-related projects to enhance operational efficiency.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Agricultural Engineering from an accredited institution (preferred).
• Experience using Microsoft tools for automation and data analysis (preferred).
• Understanding of Lean principles and continuous improvement (preferred).
• Experience with tools such as DeweSoft, TCE, DATK, SuperComm2, CAT ET, and machine troubleshooting (preferred).
• Background in product development, machine testing, mining, or electrical/electronic systems (preferred).
• Ability to work in varied indoor/outdoor conditions including hot, cold, and dusty environments (preferred).
• Ability to safely operate equipment after training (preferred).
• Proficiency in project management, technical troubleshooting, and product testing strategies.
