The Software Test & Validation Engineer joins an international team providing internal verification and validation for Caterpillar Trimble Control Technologies products. Perform internal verification and validation for Caterpillar Trimble Control Technologies products.

What we're looking for
A degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum or equivalent experience in an engineering function is required.
Candidates should have a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science (preferred).
Strong experience in software test validation for devices or machines is preferred.
Experience with grade control or similar machine control technology is preferred.
Software development experience using Python, MATLAB, or Java is preferred.
Knowledge of earthmoving machinery or related industry knowledge is preferred.
Ability to design, plan, and execute testing strategies to ensure product quality at all manufacturing stages.
Proficiency in troubleshooting technical problems and performing root cause analysis to resolve manufacturing or development issues.
