As a Production Hardware Test Engineer, you will join the team to ensure systems meet stringent standards through rigorous testing and quality assurance. What you'll do

Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrared systems issues identified during the production testing process.
Maintain test capabilities across the manufacturing value stream from system level checkouts to component validation.
Develop software for test automation, data analytics, and automated report generation.
Perform root cause analysis on product failures and recommend corrective actions.
Create clear work instructions and train technicians on equipment usage.
Analyze test data and provide detailed reports to identify defects and improvement areas.
Maintain and calibrate test equipment to ensure precision and reliability.
Provide feedback to design engineers for product enhancements based on testing outcomes.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
3+ years of relevant industry experience with emphasis on manufacturing test and product sustainment.
Experience with data acquisition and processing using MATLAB, Python, and other programming languages.
Experience with test automation and report generation.
Strong root cause analysis skills for non-conforming hardware, software, and firmware.
Experience working on projects involving the integration of electrical, opto-mechanical, and software/firmware systems.
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
Knowledge of infrared systems, cryogenic testing, and common communication protocols (preferred).
