The Production Coordinator, Intelligence Systems joins the manufacturing team to organize and coordinate all aspects of production for advanced defense technologies. This role involves monitoring and moving parts through the production flow, managing physical movement between work centers, and ensuring components are handled according to specifications. The individual will manage resource planning, maintain accurate MRP, ERP, and MES data, resolve inventory inaccuracies, and develop reports regarding deliverables and constraints. Key responsibilities include coordinating off-site processing, managing material certifications, and maintaining the tooling and calibration database. Required skills include proficiency in MS Office, Tableau, Confluence, and SQL. The candidate must have experience with NetSuite or Oracle systems within a manufacturing, shipping, or logistics environment. This role supports the production of high-tech systems while ensuring supply chain and inventory teams meet demand schedules through proactive coordination.
Track and move parts through the production flow to ensure timely delivery to subsequent work centers.
Coordinate the physical movement of components between receiving, stock rooms, purchasing, and manufacturing areas.
Maintain accurate and clean data within MRP, ERP, and MES systems.
Resolve inventory inaccuracies to support supply planning and meet production demand schedules.
Develop and maintain reports highlighting project needs, deliverables, and constraints for internal and customer use.
Communicate part status and estimated completion dates to leadership on a weekly basis.
Manage material certifications to ensure only approved materials are used in the manufacturing process.
Organize and maintain the physical and electronic library for production tooling and calibration databases.
What we're looking for
High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
2+ years of experience in a manufacturing, shipping, or logistics environment.
2+ years of experience supporting administrative processes.
Experience with MRP/ERP/MES systems such as Netsuite or Oracle.
Strong computer skills and familiarity with the full suite of MS Office products.
Experience with Tableau, Confluence, SQL, or other reporting features.
Must be a U.S. Person due to access to export-controlled information.
Experience in manufacturing handling, organization, inventory, aerospace/automotive sectors, or Lean Manufacturing is preferred; APICS certification is preferred.
