Product Test Engineer, EW joins the Electronic Warfare team to support the development of a next-generation electronic warfare platform. This role involves owning RF test strategy and coverage across development and manufacturing phases while driving improvements in mission-focused test architecture. The engineer will create and maintain electrical test systems throughout their lifecycle, perform root cause analysis on product failures, and provide technical training to technicians. Key responsibilities include documenting test plans and conducting regression testing for resolved issues. Required skills include a strong understanding of RF fundamentals like S-parameters and signal integrity, alongside experience with RF circuit board assemblies. The role requires proficiency in Python or MATLAB for scripting and data visualization, familiarity with Linux environments, and hands-on experience with equipment such as spectrum analyzers, VNAs, and function generators to solve complex hardware integration challenges.
Own RF test strategy and coverage for electronic warfare systems across development and manufacturing phases.
Drive improvements in RF test architecture with a focus on tactically relevant mission testing.
Create and maintain electrical test systems through the full lifecycle of development, implementation, and scaling.
Improve existing test systems to enhance automation, consistency, and overall coverage.
Determine root causes of product failures and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
Support customer returns and failure analysis in coordination with Design, Quality, and Manufacturing teams.
Validate resolved issues and corrective actions through rigorous regression testing.
Train technicians on the proper use of specialized equipment as required.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
5+ years of relevant experience in Test Engineering, RF validation, or hardware/system integration.
Experience with RF circuit board assemblies, subassemblies, and systems.
Familiarity with Python and/or MATLAB for test scripting, data parsing, and data visualization.
Familiarity with electronics test equipment such as power supplies, electronic loads, oscilloscopes, function generators, spectrum analyzers, and sensors.
Strong understanding of RF fundamentals including S-parameters, impedance matching, signal integrity, and RF signal chains.
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
Familiarity with Linux, Ubuntu, NixOS, test automation, PCBA design, mechanical design, or EW systems (preferred).
