Join the Global Products Engineering group at Lam Research as an experienced engineering professional, where you will play a crucial role in resolving complex technical issues related to Etch, Deposition, and Clean products. Your daily responsibilities include analyzing research data, conducting experiments, and designing solutions for new methods or process modifications. You will also be responsible for communicating findings and progress to customers regularly and ensuring the proper release of solutions to Technical Services and Field Service organizations. Ideal candidates have at least 8 years of semiconductor equipment experience with a focus on mechatronics product support, strong oral and written communication skills, and a background in engineering or equivalent technical fields. Familiarity with SPC, DOE, FMEA, RCCA, and GD&T is beneficial, as well as the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage up to 30% travel.

What you'll do

Analyze research data and product specifications for Lam platforms on Etch, Deposition, and Clean products.
Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve technical problems using engineering theories and methods.
Design experiments to develop new processes or modify existing materials and components.
Own corrective actions and ensure proper release of solutions to Technical Services and Field teams.
Regularly communicate findings, data, and progress to Lam’s customers in a quantitative manner.

What we're looking for

8+ years of semiconductor equipment experience required
Strong background in mechatronics product support preferred
Expertise in SPC, DOE, FMEA, RCCA, 5Why problem-solving techniques
BS degree in Engineering or equivalent; MS/PhD a plus
Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong presentation abilities
