As a Product Director - Employee Platforms Data Product Management, you will lead the product roadmap, vision, and lifecycle for employee platforms. You are responsible for overseeing development, risk management, and business growth targets while mentoring team members on best practices like storyboarding, prototyping, and market research. Your daily work involves converting complex workflow requirements into data domains, entities, and metric definitions to drive automation and standardization. You will manage the delivery of curated datasets, governed metrics layers, and analytics products embedded into operating rhythms. Key responsibilities include establishing robust data product governance, managing quality SLAs, and leading AI enablement by identifying high-value use cases. The role requires expertise in data quality frameworks, warehouse or lakehouse patterns, and building tools for large-scale employee workflows within regulated environments to solve problems related to data consistency and reusability.
Oversee the product roadmap, vision, development, execution, risk management, and business growth targets.
Manage the entire product lifecycle from planning and discovery to delivery and continuous improvement.
Coach and mentor the product team on best practices like market research, prototyping, and adoption strategies.
Define and execute a multi-year data product vision for Employee Platforms aligned with stakeholder outcomes.
Analyze end-to-end workflows to identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and data-driven decision making.
Convert workflow requirements into consistent data domains, entities, events, and metric definitions across platforms.
Establish and operate robust data product governance including quality management, metadata standards, and change control.
Lead AI enablement by identifying high-value use cases and translating them into actionable product requirements.
What we're looking for
8+ years of experience or equivalent expertise delivering products, projects, or technology applications.
Proven ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management.
Experience driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions.
Ability to define and execute a multi-year data product vision and roadmap for Employee Platforms while aligning stakeholder outcomes and risk-aware controls.
Ability to convert workflow requirements into data domains, entities, events, and metric definitions to drive consistency and reusability.
Experience establishing and operating robust data product governance across a multi-domain enterprise including lineage, quality management, and metadata standards.
Lead AI enablement by identifying high-value use cases and translating them into product requirements for safe delivery.
Experience with HR/employee platforms, data quality frameworks in regulated environments, or modern data architectures (preferred).
