As Product Director - AI Governance Transformation within Corporate Technology, you will lead the strategy and execution of a portfolio of AI governance capabilities. You will transform legacy processes into modern, self-service, controls-by-design products that manage the entire machine learning lifecycle, including intake, risk review, deployment, monitoring, and decommissioning. Your daily work involves partnering with engineering, design, Model Risk, Legal, Compliance, Privacy, Cybersecurity, and Data Governance teams to translate internal policies and control frameworks into scalable product experiences. You will drive end-to-end delivery from discovery through launch while managing product operating rhythms and executive reporting. The role requires expertise in AI/ML concepts, data lineage, access controls, and GenAI considerations. You will solve the complex problem of operationalizing firm-wide standards to accelerate time-to-value for AI while ensuring trust, transparency, and resiliency across the enterprise.
Define and own the product strategy for AI governance capabilities across the entire machine learning lifecycle.
Transform legacy governance processes into modern, self-service products that reduce cycle time and audit burden.
Translate firm policies and control requirements into scalable, embedded product experiences for internal users.
Drive end-to-end product delivery from initial discovery through launch, adoption, and continuous improvement.
Partner with engineering and design to create intuitive workflows for AI asset registration and evidence capture.
Lead cross-functional decision-making across legal, risk, compliance, and technology teams to ensure integrated delivery.
Establish clear success metrics for customer satisfaction, cycle time, and governance effectiveness to guide product iterations.
Influence stakeholders through executive-level narratives and trade-off frameworks to align the firm on responsible AI at scale.
What we're looking for
10+ years of applied product management experience including delivery of governance platforms or transformation initiatives at enterprise scale.
Demonstrated experience owning strategy, roadmaps, and delivery for large-scale platform or governance products used by multiple teams across an enterprise.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional transformation initiatives across product, engineering, risk, compliance, legal, and operations.
Working knowledge of AI/ML concepts and the AI/ML lifecycle including how governance and controls attach to each stage.
Experience translating internal policies, standards, and control frameworks into product requirements and self-service tooling.
Ability to define clear success measures and communicate through executive-ready storytelling in complex, control-sensitive environments.
Prior experience in AI Governance, AI/ML platforms, or Data Governance product management within a large enterprise (preferred).
Awareness of the external AI governance landscape and familiarity with GenAI-specific governance considerations (preferred).
