What you'll do

Drive closure of product architecture and technical opens during early project stages.
Establish program baselines for features, scheduling, budgets, and critical paths.
Identify technical risk areas and develop mitigation strategies with impacted teams.
Create and monitor efficient processes to enable the engineering development effort.
Manage drawing releases and tooling kickoffs with engineering teams and vendors.
Plan and execute prototype builds by directing external OEM partners.
Lead cross-functional communication between internal project teams and external vendors.
Provide status updates on project progress to executive management via various channels.

What we're looking for

BS engineering degree required.
1-4+ years of project management experience.
Excellent communication, organizational, presentation, and leadership skills (preferred).
Self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities (preferred).
Ability to handle rapid development cycles and remain flexible when faced with uncertainty (preferred).
Knowledge of product development, manufacturing processes, and mechanical engineering fundamentals (preferred).
Prior experience with metal stamping, forging, machining, die casting, plastic injection, and metal injection molding (preferred).
Experience interfacing with Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Reliability, Operations, and Marketing teams (preferred).
