Process Engineer 5

What you'll do

• Conduct process engineering research and development for semiconductor equipment and systems.
• Develop and sustain new processes to reduce production costs and increase yields.
• Analyze test data to establish process specifications and determine development next steps.
• Review and enhance processing techniques used in product manufacture and fabrication.
• Provide leadership and technical guidance to process technicians during execution activities.
• Partner with customers to drive the adoption of new technologies at their sites.
• Contribute to the development and release of next-generation products for the semiconductor roadmap.

What we're looking for

• Master’s degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field with 8+ years of experience.
• PhD in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field with 5+ years of experience.
• Equivalent professional experience to the required degrees and years of experience.
• Familiarity with laboratory work and semiconductor equipment, including surface preparation and analytical techniques (preferred).
• In-depth understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and/or Design of Experiments (DOE) (preferred).
• High proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or other similar scientific computing languages (preferred).
• Working knowledge of statistical analysis, problem-solving methodologies, and statistical tools like JMP or Minitab (preferred).
• Background in deposition (ALD, CVD, PECVD, PVD), etch (RIE, ALE), plasma physics, or material characterization (preferred).
