What you'll do

  • Manage relationships with external partners to ensure compliance with Microsoft standards.
  • Identify and mitigate risks throughout program execution to support successful outcomes.
  • Oversee Agile processes, conduct regular reviews, and remove obstacles for timely delivery.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's Degree in quantum information, physics, materials science, electrical engineering, hardware systems, or related field and 6+ years of relevant experience.
  • Deep technical expertise in managing multi-year, complex hardware and firmware product portfolios involving advanced technologies like SoC bring-up, BIOS development, and quantum systems.
  • Proven ability to manage full lifecycle of firmware and hardware product development, including R&D, system integration, and technology transfer into manufacturing.
  • Hands-on experience with low-level systems or advanced hardware R&D, such as embedded systems, quantum device development, and measurement/control systems.
  • Strong program management skills using methodologies like Agile and Azure DevOps for data-driven execution, risk tracking, and executive reporting in matrixed environments.
  • Experience working with semiconductor supply chains, contract manufacturers, and leading external research partnerships in advanced hardware or scientific domains.
