What you'll do

• Drive end-to-end program management for quantum hardware initiatives from concept to delivery.
• Build and maintain a clear hardware platform roadmap aligning milestones with long-term goals.
• Coordinate across multiple disciplines to deliver reliable, scalable quantum hardware solutions.
• Manage relationships with external partners to ensure compliance with Microsoft's standards.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the execution of quantum hardware programs.
• Oversee Agile processes to promote transparency and timely delivery of critical milestones.
• Incorporate customer feedback to guide improvements in quantum hardware and processes.

What we're looking for

• 6+ years of experience in quantum information, physics, materials science, or related technical fields.
• Deep knowledge and direct experience managing complex hardware product portfolios involving deep-tech technologies.
• Proven ability to oversee the entire hardware product development lifecycle from R&D to manufacturing.
• Experience with quantum device development, error correction, measurement/control hardware, or similar advanced domains.
• Demonstrated success in leading external research partnerships and working with semiconductor supply chains.
• Expertise in program management methodologies like Agile and Azure DevOps for data-driven decision making.
• Advanced degree (M.Sc., Ph.D.) in a relevant field or equivalent applied experience in quantum or cryogenic hardware.
