What you'll do

Perform Linux server administration and maintenance tasks.
Manage system development, lifecycle upgrades, server monitoring, and patching.
Design, develop, test, and maintain system applications and code.
Harden Linux operating systems and applications to meet required configurations like DISA STIGs.
Monitor compliance and vulnerabilities using tools such as Nessus, HBSS, and ACAS.
Manage software version control through tools like Jira’s Bamboo, Stash, GIT, or Subversion.
Troubleshoot network issues and perform system administration for both Linux and Windows environments.
Utilize scripting languages like Bash or Python to automate tasks and manage systems.

What we're looking for

Must possess a TS/SCI clearance and the ability to obtain a CI polygraph.
Must hold an IAT level II or higher (e.g., Security+) certification prior to start.
U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
Level 3: Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience, Master’s with 3 years, or High School diploma with 9 years.
Level 4: Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of experience, Master’s with 6 years, or High School diploma with 12 years.
Extensive experience with RHEL operating systems is required.
Familiarity with Windows Operating Systems and Active Directory is required.
Familiarity with Compliance/Vulnerability Monitoring tools such as Nessus, HBSS, and ACAS is required.
Knowledge of Hycu, Nutanix, VMWare, or Elastic Search Stack (preferred).
Web front-end development skills in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and Angular (preferred).
Experience hardening Linux OS to DISA STIGs (preferred).
Configuration Management experience with tools like Jira’s Bamboo, Stash, GIT, or Subversion (preferred).
Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) (preferred).
Network troubleshooting skills (preferred).
Experience with scripting languages such as Bash or Python (preferred).
