Principal Software Test

What you'll do

• Define and own the end-to-end testing strategy to ensure timely delivery and reduce post-release defects.
• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for mobile and web applications using Python and JavaScript.
• Implement and maintain test automation frameworks using tools such as Appium, Maestro, and Cypress.
• Utilize device clouds like Browserstack and Perfecto to test across various mobile devices and browsers.
• Perform hands-on functional, regression, accessibility, performance, and security testing.
• Drive the adoption of software testing best practices, including agile methodologies and continuous improvement.
• Lead QA initiatives and mentor other QA team members.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
• Four years of experience in the position offered or a related occupation.
• Four years of experience in software testing for web and mobile applications.
• Four years of experience in software testing in an Agile development environment.
• Two years of experience in software testing in the financial-services industry, including banking or investment products.
• Two years of experience using test-automation frameworks, including Appium, Maestro, or Cypress.
• Two years of experience using Python and JavaScript to develop automated test scripts.
• One year of experience leading QA initiatives and mentoring QA team members.
