As a Principal Software Engineer/Developer, you will join the team to build high-quality, end-to-end software solutions for enterprise financial systems. You will be responsible for designing application-level architecture, developing complex subsystems, and creating UI components for web applications in an Agile environment. Your daily work involves participating in architecture design teams, mentoring junior members, and translating business visions into technical solutions while managing project lifecycles and risk assessments. The role requires expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Oracle PL/SQL, and RESTful Web services using Microservices patterns. You will utilize tools such as JIRA, Version One, Maven, Jenkins, and Git for CI/CD processes. Additionally, you will develop front-end features using Angular, TypeScript, and HTML while ensuring code quality through TDD, JUnit testing, and Sonar analysis to solve complex financial technology problems.
Build end-to-end software solutions using Java EE, Spring Boot, and Oracle PL/SQL.
Design application-level architecture and develop complex components for enterprise financial systems.
Create and improve UI components for web applications using Angular, HTML, and TypeScript.
Implement process improvements within an Agile SDLC environment using Scrum methodologies.
Perform technical and functional analysis to translate business visions into software solutions.
Manage project lifecycles by coordinating schedules, assessing risks, and ensuring on-time delivery.
Develop comprehensive documentation and provide technical guidance to senior management and junior team members.
Deploy and support web applications using CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Maven, and Git.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field and experience as a Principal Software Engineer.
Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field and experience as a Principal Software Engineer.
Experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise financial systems using Java/Spring Boot, Oracle PL/SQL, cloud services, and performance optimization techniques.
Expertise in Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and developing multi-threaded applications using Java, Spring, Hibernate, RESTful Web services, and Microservices patterns.
Experience designing and maintaining web applications using Angular, HTML, TypeScript, NodeJS, JavaScript, and responsive web design.
Proficiency in DevOps CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Maven, GIT, and IntelliJ, along with TDD techniques like Unit and JUnit testing.
Ability to perform business and systems analysis within an Agile environment using Scrum methodologies.
Experience using ALM tools such as JIRA and Version One for project management.
