As a Principal Software Engineer/Developer, you will join a team focused on building end-to-end solutions that integrate diverse data sources, distributed systems, and cloud-native services at enterprise scale. You will be responsible for designing application-level architecture, developing complex software applications, and creating system-wide performance models to optimize high-volume, mission-critical workflows. Your daily work involves solving technical problems involving large datasets and multi-cloud environments while mentoring junior team members and advising senior management on technical strategy. The role requires expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Angular, Node.js, and TypeScript. You will utilize tools such as Kafka, IBM MQ, Jenkins, Maven, Sonar, and Veracode to build full-stack web applications. Additionally, you will manage Oracle and MySQL databases while ensuring high availability for AWS cloud databases and implementing robust messaging services.
Build end-to-end solutions integrating diverse data sources, distributed systems, and cloud-native services at enterprise scale.
Develop system-wide performance models and implement optimizations for high-volume, mission-critical workflows.
Define and implement application-level architecture for complex projects, components, and subsystems.
Create comprehensive documentation and establish full project life cycle plans across multiple platforms.
Provide technical solutions to daily issues and offer evaluation estimates on new technology initiatives.
Advise senior management on technical strategy and risk management strategies for various projects.
Perform independent technical and functional analysis to translate business goals into actionable software applications.
Mentor junior team members and oversee the quality of software deliverables.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field and five years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer.
Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field and three years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer.
Expertise developing full stack Java Restful services and multi-threaded applications using Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Kafka, and Oracle SQL.
Experience performing application build, deployment, and support using CI tools like Jenkins and Maven.
Expertise in front-end development using Node.js, JavaScript, Angular.js, HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, and Bootstrap.
Experience conducting code reviews and quality checks using Sonar and Veracode.
Proficiency in database development, complex SQL queries, and managing Oracle and AWS cloud databases.
Experience implementing messaging services using Kafka and IBM MQ.
