As a Principal Software Engineer/Developer, you will join the team to design and develop digital vault and e-signature software solutions using Java. You will participate in architecture design teams, define application-level architectures, and manage full project life cycles for complex projects across multiple platforms. Your daily work involves translating divisional initiatives into business solutions, mentoring junior members, and providing technical strategy advice to senior management. The role requires expertise in building enterprise cloud-enabled distributed systems using Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Apache Kafka. You will utilize tools such as Avi, HazelCache, Jenkins, IBM uDeploy, Sonar, Jprofiler, and VisualVM. Additionally, you will develop responsive Web MVC applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, Node.js, and Oracle databases with PL/SQL to solve complex technical challenges within the digital vault and e-signature product space.

What you'll do

Design and develop digital vault and e-signature software solutions using Java.
Define and implement application-level architecture for complex projects and subsystems.
Create comprehensive documentation for multiple applications and technical systems.
Establish full project life cycle plans and manage schedules for multiple projects.
Provide technical evaluations, risk assessments, and strategy advice to senior management.
Act as the primary liaison between business units to resolve technology issues.
Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on development best practices.
Develop original technical solutions for ongoing software development efforts.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field and five years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer.
Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field and three years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer.
Expertise designing enterprise cloud-enabled distributed systems using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
Experience building messaging frameworks with Apache Kafka and managing load balancing, caching, and threading.
Expertise in responsive Web MVC applications using JavaScript, TypeScript (AngularJS/Angular), HTML5, CSS, Node.js, OAuth, and SAML.
Proficiency in DevOps principles including Jenkins for CI, IBM uDeploy for CD, and Sonar for code scanning.
Experience identifying performance bottlenecks using Jprofiler and VisualVM.
Expertise in Oracle databases, including PL/SQL, stored procedures, transactional SQL, and HazelCache for performance optimization.
