What you'll do

Identify and mitigate risks in Microsoft platforms through design reviews, code reviews, and fuzzing.
Serve as the primary security contact for teams developing new products and technologies for Azure.
Envision and develop new security protections based on a broad understanding of current threats.
Engage with the external security community and independent security researchers.
Partner with product teams to improve security and communicate the business value of security investments.
Define and track objectives and key results (OKRs) to measure product success and progress.

What we're looking for

Master's degree in a relevant field and 4+ years of experience in software development, large scale computing, threat modeling, cyber security, or anomaly detection.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 6+ years of experience in software development, large scale computing, threat modeling, cyber security, or anomaly detection.
Ability to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check every two years.
Experience with native code (C/C++).
Strong understanding of cloud platform architecture from virtualization through guest virtual machines.
Hands-on experience with penetration testing and offensive security techniques including code auditing and fuzzing.
Solid understanding of operating system security fundamentals across Windows and/or Linux.
2+ years in technical program management or product management (preferred).
