Principal Sales Consultant - Oracle Communications - Siebel/CRM Architect serves as a senior presales solution architect within the Oracle Communications team to help service providers modernize customer engagement and BSS/OSS capabilities. This role involves partnering with sales, engineering, and systems integrators to design technically credible solutions for digital commerce, order management, billing care, service fulfillment, inventory, orchestration, and activation. The candidate will lead presales strategy, conduct discovery workshops, manage RFx responses, and deliver demonstrations or proofs of concept. Key technical competencies include expertise in CRM platforms like Siebel or Salesforce, cloud infrastructure, API-led integration, and AI-enabled capabilities. The role addresses the complex challenge of transforming legacy communication architectures into modern digital experiences by integrating core functions such as charging, revenue-chain processes, and automated service activation to deliver measurable business outcomes for large-scale telecommunications providers.
Lead presales strategy and solution architecture for CRM, digital experience, and related customer engagement capabilities.
Design end-to-end solutions covering orchestration, order management, inventory, billing, and service fulfillment.
Conduct discovery workshops to translate customer pain points into technical and functional requirements.
Own the execution of RFx responses, executive presentations, and tailored solution narratives.
Lead and coordinate high-quality product demonstrations and proofs of concept (POCs).
Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders by communicating value, trade-offs, and competitive differentiation.
Coordinate domain specialists and internal resources to ensure consistent messaging across complex deals.
Coach and enable regional sales teams through knowledge transfer and solution reviews.
What we're looking for
10+ years of professional presales, solution consulting, or enterprise software sales experience is required; 12+ years is preferred for lead-level candidates.
Deep functional and technical experience in the communications industry across CRM, BSS, OSS, order management, billing, and fulfillment.
Hands-on or presales experience with communications CRM and customer-engagement platforms such as Siebel, Salesforce, Amdocs, or Netcracker.
Ability to design and explain end-to-end enterprise software architectures including integration, data flows, and cloud infrastructure.
Excellent presentation, demonstration, and facilitation skills for engaging senior executives and technical teams.
Experience supporting RFx processes, discovery workshops, technical proposals, and proofs of concept.
Strong understanding of communications service provider business processes across consumer, business, and wholesale segments.
A BA/BS degree or equivalent experience is required; a technical or business degree with technical discipline is preferred.
