What you'll do

  • Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Business Applications core data platform.
  • Set modernization priorities for platform reliability, scalability, extensibility, and supported access patterns.
  • Identify high-value business data scenarios to drive reusable platform capabilities rather than one-off solutions.
  • Establish requirements for performance, observability, compatibility, and administrator control across enterprise and AI scenarios.
  • Define the integration and boundaries between Dataverse, Finance and Operations, and shared data services.
  • Develop strategies for data governance, lifecycle management, and policy-based retention at scale.
  • Shape storage economics, capacity management, and commercial models to ensure sustainable growth.
  • Lead ecosystem strategy across internal teams, independent software vendors, and systems integrators.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience in product, service, or program management or software development.
  • Ability to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check.
  • Experience leading product strategy for enterprise ERP, transaction platforms, developer platforms, or mission-critical business systems.
  • Technical understanding of enterprise data platforms including storage architecture, lifecycle, integration, and reliability at scale.
  • Experience developing commercial models, ecosystem strategies, or partner programs for data or platform products.
  • Experience with AI agents or intelligent application patterns involving structured business data.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams across engineering, AI, finance, and business units without direct authority.
  • Strong communication skills to explain complex technical and business decisions to executives, customers, and partners.
