The Principal Product Management Engineer joins the Splunk Enterprise Security team to lead the integration with Cisco Data Fabric. What you'll do

Define and drive the product and technical vision for the Splunk Enterprise Security and Cisco Data Fabric integration.
Design data flow, ingestion, and access patterns to support detection, investigation, and threat hunting across federated data.
Develop features to tier, route, filter, and reduce data based on security value to lower customer costs.
Streamline onboarding, data source configuration, and normalization to ensure customers see value on Day 1.
Lead joint roadmaps, technical design reviews, and sprint alignment across Splunk, Cisco, and partner engineering teams.
Translate complex customer and analyst requirements into clear, prioritized product capabilities.
Represent the product to customers, field teams, partners, and senior leadership as the primary technical voice.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of related experience or a Master's/PhD with 8+ years of related experience.
4+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience, including security operations.
Product management or business line ownership experience in enterprise software or security.
Experience designing and maintaining large-scale distributed data systems or SIEM architectures.
Some experience with Splunk Enterprise Security and security operations data lifecycles.
Strong grasp of core SOC workflows, threat landscape awareness, and detection engineering (preferred).
Experience with security data pipelines, cloud-native streaming like Kafka, and data models like CIM or OCSF (preferred).
Familiarity with Cisco networking and security data architectures, including Cisco Data Fabric (preferred).
