TL;DR · Engineering Product Manager

JOB TITLE: Engineering Product Manager The Senior Product Manager joins the Data Management team to lead the evolution of the Data Pipeline Building experience. This role focuses on defining how customers transform raw data into well-governed streams across edge and cloud environments. You will own the vision and roadmap for pipeline-building capabilities, designing intuitive experiences for engineers and admins to handle stream-time transformations, filtering telemetry, and enriching logs. Key responsibilities include managing stakeholders, defining success metrics, and translating customer needs into technical requirements for APIs and user interfaces. You will work with technologies such as Kafka, Amazon Kinesis, Apache Spark, Flink, S3, Azure Data Lake, Databricks, and Snowflake. The role solves complex problems in data federation, stream processing, and enterprise data architecture to make high-volume data usable and trustworthy.

What you'll do

  • Own the vision and roadmap for pipeline-building capabilities to help customers scale data processing workflows.
  • Design intuitive UI and API building blocks for visual pipeline construction, reusable templates, and stream-time transformations.
  • Translate customer feedback and technical requirements into clear product decisions that balance usability with business impact.
  • Drive market differentiation by monitoring trends in edge compute, data federation, and AI-assisted workflows.
  • Align engineering, design, and GTM stakeholders on roadmap priorities, technical tradeoffs, and product requirements.
  • Define success metrics to measure product adoption, business impact, and customer value after launch.
  • Influence long-term data federation strategies for managing enterprise data across diverse clouds and regions.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s with 8+ years; or Master’s with 6+ years; or PhD with 3+ years of product management experience.
  • Degree must be in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience delivering technical products in domains like data platforms, cloud infrastructure, SaaS, observability, or security analytics.
  • Experience owning product strategy, roadmap, requirements, and launch planning for complex technical products used by technical users.
  • Experience partnering with engineering and design teams to deliver capabilities involving APIs, user interfaces, and large-scale distributed systems.
  • Experience defining product success metrics and using customer feedback to prioritize roadmap decisions.
  • Experience with data pipeline, stream processing, ETL/ELT, or data lake technologies such as Kafka, Spark, or Snowflake (preferred).
  • Familiarity with edge-to-cloud architectures, data routing, filtering, and cost optimization use cases (preferred).
