What you'll do

Manage compliance for Microsoft's public Certificate Authorities (CAs) against global trust requirements.
Develop and execute long-term PKI compliance strategies aligned with browser root programs and audit frameworks.
Lead external incident response and reporting for compliance issues involving public CAs.
Coordinate engagement with root programs, auditors, and industry stakeholders during security incidents.
Serve as the primary technical representative to the CA/Browser Forum and related groups.
Drive advancements in global internet trust standards.
Produce high-quality technical documentation including policy documents, audit artifacts, and incident reports.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree and 12+ years of experience in product/service/program management or software development.
Ability to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check.
8+ years of experience contributing to consensus-driven technical industry standards bodies.
Experience operating or overseeing a publicly trusted Certificate Authority (CA).
Experience engaging with browser root programs such as Chrome, Mozilla, Apple, and Microsoft.
Working knowledge of the CA/Browser Forum governance model.
Background in applied cryptography, security engineering, identity infrastructure, or internet-scale security operations.
Experience navigating or leading responses to publicly disclosed compliance or operational incidents.
