Join our dynamic Partner Sales team as a Senior Partner Sales Professional to drive the growth of MongoDB, the world's fastest-growing database. In this role, you will proactively identify and develop sales pipelines through strategic partnerships with System Integrators (SI) within your assigned territories, collaborating closely with the global sales pillar teams for support. Your daily tasks include prospecting new business opportunities, qualifying leads, and building strong relationships to exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual bookings targets. Ideal candidates have over eight years of quota-carrying experience in a matrix sales environment, familiarity with databases, DevOps, and open-source technologies, and high emotional intelligence for effective relationship management.

What you'll do

  • Proactively identify and qualify potential partners to build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Close business deals with SI Partners to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
  • Recruit and maintain strong relationships with partners for mutual growth opportunities.
  • Own all partner-related activities on behalf of the VP - Area Sales at an area level.
  • Collaborate with global teams for strategic support in acquiring new business opportunities.
  • Identify and source non-well-known leads (NWLs) through SI Partners strategically.

What we're looking for

  • 8+ years of quota-carrying experience in generating pipeline through SI Partners.
  • Proven track record of meeting monthly, quarterly, and annual bookings objectives.
  • Strong ability to recruit and build effective partner relationships for growth.
  • Experience working within a heavy sales matrix model environment.
  • Familiarity with databases, DevOps, and open source technology preferred.
  • High emotional intelligence (EQ) and self-awareness required.
